Asha has practiced clinical massage therapy for 27 years and holds more than 45 advanced bodywork certifications. Her work spans private chiropractic offices, physical therapy clinics, hospital prenatal and oncology departments, HIV-focused medical environments, athletic clubs, luxury spas, and multidisciplinary wellness centers. For twelve years, she served as a licensed clinical massage therapist at Project Vida, a nonprofit organization supporting individuals living with HIV. Her career reflects both range and depth, grounded in disciplined clinical standards rather than trends.
Throughout nearly three decades of practice, Asha has worked with chronic pain clients, oncology patients, seniors, individuals living with HIV/AIDS, domestic abuse survivors, and high-performing professionals seeking restoration. She has functioned as an independent contractor, employee, and lead therapist across medical and performance-based environments.
Her longevity in complex clinical settings is not accidental. It reflects consistency, technical precision, and the ability to maintain professional clarity under intensity.
Asha’s certifications include advanced study in:
Clinical & Pathology-Based Work
Nervous System & Regulation Modalities
Advanced Techniques
Foundational Mastery
Her approach integrates assessment, pacing, and therapeutic decision-making based on presentation rather than routine.
Asha’s work is informed by five decades of study in psychology and human behavior. She is currently pursuing advanced coursework in Forensic Psychology at the University of Arizona Global Campus, maintaining a 3.87 GPA. She has received an Honors Program invitation, Dean’s List recognition, and membership in Tau Upsilon Alpha Honor Society.
Her academic focus includes trauma, nervous system regulation, meditation, and personality structure—areas she has explored both formally and independently throughout her life.
Asha has maintained a daily meditation practice for 35 years. Fourteen years ago, she was introduced to the Vipassana tradition of S.N. Goenka, a method that significantly deepened her understanding of perception, sensation, and emotional regulation.
Her meditation practice is not presented as philosophy or identity. It functions as disciplined perceptual training.
It strengthens sustained attention, non-reactivity, and emotional stability—capacities essential in clinical environments where grief, illness, or psychological complexity may be present.
Asha has served as an American Massage Therapy Association mentor and as an adjunct instructor teaching Advanced Medical Massage Therapy at Northwestern Business College. Earlier in her career, she spoke at Chicago School of Massage Therapy open houses, introducing prospective students to the profession.
She has received multiple professional recognitions, including:
These acknowledgments reflect consistency in both technical skill and client trust.
Decades of disciplined inner practice did not change the fundamentals of how Asha works. It strengthened her capacity to remain steady under complexity.
Her clinical decisions are not influenced by urgency, emotion, or projection. She works from assessment, regulation, and clear boundaries. She understands where she ends and where the client begins. That clarity protects the integrity of the session.
Asha’s work is designed for women who take their growth seriously. Women who arrive prepared to receive. Women who allow professional space and understand that deep restoration requires both structure and surrender.
Her role is not to rescue or to perform. It is to provide skilled, composed, and intelligent care—delivered without excess, without drama, and without compromise.
